About Us
Our Goal
The Yarn Barn is a non-profitable, high-school student club at Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego, CA, established in 2022. Club members work and crochet together with resources raised from fundraisers and donations, creating blankets, bags, hats, etc. to donate to homeless shelters. Our goal is to create, collaborate, and crochet for a better community. We hope to expand The Yarn Barn to knitting and more in the future as we grow!

Club members will take the time provided in weekly meetings to crochet individual and team projects led by club managers. Crafts4Change is a safe, creative workplace, (LGBTQ+ friendly!), for you to destress and find others with similar interests.

Club meetings are every Tuesday in Room 454, and every Friday in Room 750 each week during lunch! Tuesday meetings are more important, while Fridays are an optional time during lunch for you to come relax and crochet.

Fundraiser schedules will depend on club finances and work flow for projects. Fundraiser events include selling our club crafts, mini-games with crochet prizes, and much more to come! Event locations are to be determined.
